Democracy Day: NANS Senate President Celebrates Nigerians, Calls for Unity, Justice and Active Citizen Participation


The Senate President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Distinguished Comr. Ibeabuchi Moses Onyia, has felicitated with Nigerians on the occasion of the 2026 Democracy Day celebration.

In a commemorative message released on June 12, Onyia described Democracy Day as a significant moment to celebrate the power of the people, the strength of collective voices, and the promise of a better future for the nation.

He urged Nigerians, particularly students and youths, to continue upholding the values of unity, justice, and active participation in nation-building, stressing that democratic governance thrives when citizens remain committed to national development and civic responsibility.
