Igbo-Eze South Chairman Sends Powerful New Month Message, Reaffirms Commitment to Progress Agenda



As residents of Igbo-Eze South ushered in the month of August 2025, the Chairman of the Local Government Area, Hon. Ufoma Francis Ugwoke (UFU), extended warm greetings and a reaffirmed commitment to transparency, people-centered governance, and sustainable development.

In a heartfelt message released on August 1, 2025, the local government boss expressed gratitude to the people for their continued support and pledged to continue steering the affairs of the LGA with integrity, compassion, and vision. He emphasized that progress does not happen by chance, but is the result of “consistent effort, shared sacrifice, and a collective will to do better.”

The message highlights the administration’s unwavering focus on community participation, discipline, unity, and respect for leadership and process. Hon. Ugwoke urged residents to recommit to these values as they journey through the new month.

My dear people of Igbo-Eze South,

As we joyfully usher in the month of August 2025, I bring you greetings of peace, progress and purpose.

I deeply appreciate your support, trust and partnership as we continue our collective journey towards building a more prosperous local government under the Progress Agenda.

August is not just another month, it is a reminder that each day brings a new opportunity to serve, impact lives and consolidate on our shared vision for sustainable development across all the communities in our LGA. Together, we have set a new standard for local governance, driven by transparency, people-centered policies and visible impact.

As we move into August, let us recommit ourselves to the values that make Igbo-Eze South great: unity, discipline, community participation and respect for leadership and process.

Progress does not happen by chance. It is the product of consistent effort, shared sacrifice and a collective will to do better. I remain committed to serving with integrity, compassion and vision.

With your continued support, I am confident that we will achieve even more remarkable milestones before the year runs out.
