BREAKING: Police Rescue Six Abducted Law Students



In a major breakthrough, police authorities have rescued six law students who were abducted on July 26, 2025, while traveling to the Nigerian Law School, Yola Campus.

The students, all from Anambra State, were kidnapped along the dangerous Wukari–Benue highway late Saturday night while en route to Adamawa State.

Confirming the development on Friday, August 1, 2025, the Benue State Police Public Relations Officer, Edet Udeme, announced that the victims were safely released and have since been reunited with their families.

“Police authorities confirmed the rescue, assuring the public of their commitment to ensuring the safety of lives and property,” Udeme stated.

The abduction had triggered concern among legal and student communities nationwide, prompting swift security action.
