WHO IS SPONSORING THE ENUGU CITIZENS COALITION?
I will give you his name shortly. Remember that we promised not to play hide and seek but to come out brazenly as politicians and play real politics and win elections.
So there's no need hiding our sponsor. After all, it's not a crime to sponsor political activities, and there's freedom of Association and Assembly.
However, before I give you his name, let's go through the following reality checks;
1. An estimated 15,000 young people graduate from over 35 tertiary institutions in Enugu State yearly. Only less than 1,000 of them get jobs that pay up to ₦150,000 monthly. Even State Government Employed Social Media are allegedly being paid only ₦50,000 (32 dollars). ₦30k short of the state approved minimum wage.
How will such graduates see what to eat at all, let alone have the finances to organize themselves and speak up against the Government? Of course they have to be paid or sponsored by someone.
2. To find a one room self contain with well water in Enugu is between ₦300k and 500k. When you add Agent fee, Legal fee, Caution, Security and Maintenance fees, it will be almost one million naira.
Where will a fresh graduate in Enugu get such money to pay for his house rent, feed, transport himself to work and back, and still have the capacity to put mouth in the Activities of the Government? Of course he has to be paid or sponsored by someone else.
3. During his inaugural address, Gov. Mbah told us the stories of Emeka and Ikechukwu, which he used to encourage us to remain in Enugu, fight and make it better. Today, leaving Enugu/Nigeria is the dream of 99% of Enugu Young men and women because they've been strangulated and like Emeka in Peter Mba's story, the hopes of a better tomorrow can only be found outside the shores of the state.
So who are these ones insisting on remaining in Enugu and wrestling power from the powers that be? Where did they find enough food to eat, let alone muster the courage to dare their chi? They must've been sponsored or paid by someone.
4. According to Hon. Chika Ugwoke, Peter Mba's immediate past Commissioner for Labour and Employment in November 2023, 40% of Enugu Youths have no jobs at all.
How can unemployed hungry people gather the momentum to organize themselves and decide their fate? No, they can only be paid and sponsored by someone.
5. According various data figures released by Prime Business Africa, Nairametrics, Legit.ng and tradingeconomics.com, Enugu is the state with the highest inflation rate in Nigeria.
The question is, how are people still breathing in spite of all these, to the point of taking a stand, speaking up and getting set to take over over power? How? They must be sponsored or paid by someone.
You see? It was not incompetence.
It was not cluelessness.
It was not inefficiency.
It was not lack of ideas.
It was not lack of funds
It was not lack of willpower.
No.
The poverty, the unemployment, the inflation, the excruciating economy and the wanton killing and destruction of businesses and sources of livelihoods in Enugu were all carefully designed and well orchestrated and executed Agenda by the powers that be, to ensure that no one is independent enough, healthy enough and self sufficient enough to feed, pay house rent, transport himself to work and still have any kobo or strength left to use and question the government.
It was all intentional.
It's why, whenever they detect a voice of dissent, they believe that such a person or groups of persons MUST have been paid or sponsored by someone somewhere.
It's in this spirit that I have decided to release the list of our sponsors, and they include:
1. RT. Hon. Dr. Biting Unemployment
2. Chief Engr. Exorbitant House Rent and Mrs. Agent/Legal/Caution/Maintenance fees
3. His Royal Majesty, Igwe, Enugu Enwerọ Mmiri, Ọ sị anyị nwụwa Pure Water 1, na Waawa Land.
4. Prof. Dr. Elder, Taxation, Ground rent and Rates
5. His Holiness, Bishop Hunger and Starvation of Agụụ Dị Diocese (Anyị afụrọ Communion)
There are a few other sponsors, but they begged me to keep them anonymous due to security reasons. They can't afford to pay ransom if anyone kidnaps them in Udi.
These are our sponsors. Once you eliminate them, our plans will be scattered.
