There are rumours of planned heavy protest at Ogui Police Division Enugu on Thursday, following alleged attack on Student leaders on Wednesday evening.
The students were reported to have visited the ogui police station to secure the release of a fellow student. While a few of them went inside the station to finalize the process of his release, the others waited outside the station. Few minutes into their stay, a black Toyota Camry carrying 4 heavily armed police men abruptly stops in front of them. According to the students, the police men jumped out of the vehicle bearing guns and whips and before they could say jack, the police men beat and brutalized them, leaving many injured.
