No fewer than 562 students of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta, Ogun State, have received a major financial boost through the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), following the disbursement of ₦70.52 million for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The disbursement, dated July 31, 2026, represents another significant intervention under the Federal Government’s student loan initiative aimed at easing the financial burden of tertiary education and ensuring that eligible students are not forced to abandon their studies because of financial difficulties.
According to the disbursement details, the ₦70,520,000 released to the institution covers statutory charges for 562 verified student beneficiaries, providing substantial relief to students and their families.
The intervention comes as NELFUND continues to expand its reach across Nigerian tertiary institutions, with institutional-fee support emerging as a major component of the scheme.
