Akpugo Ward III Congratulates Chief Uche Nnaji Following His Emergence As PDP Guber Flag Bearer


The leadership and entire members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Akpugo Ward 3 in Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State, have issued a warm congratulatory message to Chief Uche Nnaji (Nwakaibie) following his emergence as the party’s governorship flag bearer after the just-concluded primary election.

In a felicitation message dated Sunday, 24th May, 2026, the ward leadership described Chief Nnaji’s victory at the primary as well-deserved, noting that his emergence reflects the overwhelming confidence, trust, and belief of party faithful in his capacity to lead the state.

According to the message, Chief Nnaji’s emergence followed what was described as a landslide victory at the PDP governorship primary held on the same date, positioning him as the party’s standard bearer for the forthcoming governorship election in Enugu State.

The party leaders in the ward stated that his political journey and recent victory underscore his visionary leadership qualities, competence, and unwavering commitment to the growth and development of Enugu State. They further expressed optimism that his tenure, if elected, would reposition the state for greater progress and prosperity.

They also highlighted that his achievements, dedication to public service, and consistent focus on the welfare of the people have continued to distinguish him as a leader capable of driving sustainable development and inclusive governance.

The statement further noted that his victory is not only a triumph for the PDP family but also a source of renewed hope for Ndị Enugu, who are yearning for purposeful leadership and impactful governance.

Prayers were offered for divine wisdom, strength, and guidance for the governorship flag bearer as he prepares for the political task ahead, with the message concluding by congratulating him once again and referring to him as “His Excellency in waiting.”

The message was jointly signed by the Ward Chairman, Comrade Ikenna Cletus Nnaji, and the Ward Secretary, Mr. Nwodo Emeka Daniel.
