TRENDING!! Enugu Billionaire Donates Fleet of Buses, ₦50 Million to Boost APC Operations

Enugu State’s Commissioner for Innovation, Science and Technology, Dr. Prince Lawrence Ezeh, popularly known as the Prince of Mburubu, has made one of the most significant political donations in the state in recent months by presenting a fleet of buses and ₦50 million to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Enugu State.

The handover ceremony, held in Enugu on Tuesday, witnessed a large gathering of party leaders, supporters and stakeholders who described the gesture as a major boost to the APC’s organisational strength as it intensifies preparations for future political engagements.

Dr. Ezeh donated one Coaster bus and four Toyota HiAce (Hummer) buses, each assigned to critical arms of the party. The women’s wing received the Coaster bus, the youth wing took delivery of a HiAce bus, while the remaining two buses were designated for administrative and mobilisation activities across the state.

Addressing party members during the presentation, the Commissioner emphasised that loyalty to a political party should go beyond rhetoric. He noted that while the state government under Governor Peter Mbah remains deeply engaged with “economic-driven projects across every political ward,” party members must complement governance by strengthening internal structures through sacrifices and practical contributions.

He said his donation was aimed at “strengthening the APC’s operational capacity” and enhancing its effectiveness in grassroots mobilisation, logistics coordination, and statewide political outreach.

In addition to the vehicles, Dr. Ezeh announced a ₦50 million support fund to enable the party address its logistical and administrative needs more efficiently.

Senior APC figures in Enugu lauded the intervention as timely, noting that the vehicles would be immediately deployed for field operations, community engagement, and coordination across wards. Party sources described the gesture as “a morale booster” that reinforces confidence ahead of upcoming political activities.

Observers also drew parallels to similar initiatives at the national level, recalling that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu recently inaugurated the Renewed Hope Ambassadors and distributed vehicles to support nationwide grassroots mobilisation.

Dr. Ezeh, who continues to present himself as a bridge between technocratic governance and community-based politics, reiterated his “unwavering commitment” to strengthening the APC in Enugu State. His remarks drew prolonged applause from party members, many of whom described the donation as an unparalleled demonstration of loyalty and party-building spirit.
