Significant work is ongoing at Chainage CH68+350 as part of the dualization of the 9th Mile (Enugu) – Otukpo – Makurdi Road, a major component of the Abuja – Keffi – Akwanga – Lafia – 9th Mile Superhighway Project (Contract No. 6448).
At this stage of construction, teams are actively engaged in stone base installation, an essential foundation layer that ensures strength, durability, and long-term stability of the road pavement.
The site remains a hub of activity, with tipper trucks delivering aggregates, motor graders shaping and leveling the base, rollers compacting layers to engineering standards, and paving equipment preparing the corridor for subsequent asphalt works.
All operations are executed under strict technical supervision, guaranteeing compliance with project specifications and international best practices.
This consistent on-ground momentum is a practical reflection of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President
