Governor Umaru Bago has announced the dissolution of the Niger State Executive Council. The decision was made during the monthly cabinet meeting held in Minna.
The dissolution affects all commissioners in the state. However, the governor confirmed that the Secretary to the State Government, Chief of Staff, Deputy Chief of Staff, and other principal officers have been reappointed to continue in their positions.
This move marks the first major shake-up in the governance structure of Niger State under Governor Bago’s administration.
