Engr. Andreas Gebauer, the Austrian-born Special Assistant (SPA) to Governor of Enugu State, Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah on Water and Waste, has stepped down from his position after two years of dedicated service. His resignation was confirmed through a message he shared with his team, where he reflected on their collective achievements and praised the efforts of the Enugu State Waste Management Authority (ESWAMA).
Below is the full text of his resignation statement:
"Dear team, I want to inform you that I stepped down yesterday as a SPA to the governor. I am really proud what we have achieved together and I am proud that I had a chance to lead you for 2 years.
#ESWAMA is for sure the best agency in Enugu and also one of the leading in whole Nigeria. You have tremendously improved under the management of Richard, who has done a fantastic job and I hope he will stay with ESWAMA and become officially the new MD.
Please keep on pushing as there is always room for improvements. When I will be back in Enugu, I will invite you for a dinner to say thank you to all of you.
