A suspected electricity vandal met a tragic end after being electrocuted while attempting to steal cables from a transformer at Wilcox Relief, located in the Ogbor Hill area of Aba, Abia State.
Eyewitnesses report that the man was tampering with parts of the transformer when power was suddenly restored, leading to instant electrocution. The incident has sparked renewed calls for increased vigilance and security around public electricity infrastructure.
