The identities of the seven Friars (Seminarians) who tragically lost their lives in a fatal accident in Cross River State have been confirmed.
The victims, members of the Capuchin Order under the ecclesiastical jurisdiction of Enugu State, were returning from a guided tour of the Ranch Resort in the bottom hill community of Obudu when the crash occurred.
The deceased Friars are:
- Br. Somadina Ibe-Ojuludu
- Br. Chinedu Nwachukwu
- Br. Marcel Ezenwafor
- Gerald Nwogueze
- Br. Kingsley Nwosu
- Br. Wilfred Aleke
- Br. Chukwudi Obueze
The tragic incident has plunged the religious community and the state into mourning.
