Amid demand for their arrest, native doctors in Ezeagu have staged a protest, declaring that one Ezeani, alleged to be into kidnapping and money ritual, is not their member.
NATIONAL POST reports that a horrifying scene was burst in Umuma Ndiagu, Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State, where a native doctor, popularly known as "E dey play E dey Show" was alleged to have buried his victims alive, including pregnant women for ritual purposes.
The development has drawn outrage from Enugu State and beyond, with many demanding the arrest of all those who have associated with the suspect, including members of a certain club seen dancing and spraying money with him in another trending video.
A Facebook user, Ikechukwu Okorie Ikukufied wrote, “SkuII Gang: Video of Ezeagu native doctor popularly known as "E dey play E dey Show" who buries his victims alive, including pregnant women for ritual purposes. Watch him throwing money with members of his club wearing skuII uniforms while musician sang his praise.
"The Nigeria Police Force should arrest everyone captured in that video wearing the red cloth with skeleton sign and have them thoroughly investigated".
There have also been loud demand for the arrest and other investigation of other native doctors in Ezeagu.
However, in apparent response to that demand, the native doctors took to the streets, declaring that Ezeani is not one of them.
They could be heard saying: “Ezeani is not our member; he is not a native doctor; he is part of those involved in money ritual, using human parts for ritual; native doctors don’t use guns; we are into trado-medicine; Ezeani should leave Ezeagu; say no to fake native doctor”, among others.
Another Facebook user, Chijinkem Ugwuanyi reacted to the protest by the native doctors.
He wrote: “A Protest by Ezeagu Native Doctors, declaring that the trending Ezeagu Native doctor/kidnapper Ezeani Enugu State is not their member.
“Barr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah pls arrest all of them for investigation if actually our Tomorrow and Next Tomorrow is here.”
Meanwhile, anger has been building up both within and outside Ezeagu over the shocking discovery, which came through a 13-year-old girl.
Residents were said to have discovered to their shock soakaway pits filled with dead bodies of people, including pregnant women and children in the compound of the native doctor.
“We have caught the killers. They kill people. People’s dead bodies are full inside here. They have killed a lot of people.
“We just rescued a 13-year-old child who they wanted to use for rituals,” one of the community members said in the video.”
Already, his house has been demolished, with Ezeani’s whereabouts unknown as of the time of filing this report.
