The Women Support Women Community Network (WOSCONET) has lauded the Executive Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Dr. Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for the appointment of Ozor Ugonna Kingsley as a member of the newly constituted Enugu State Human Capital Development Council, representing Civil Society Organizations (CSOs).
Ozor, the Executive Director of the Rural Engagement and Development Foundation (REDFoundation) and Secretary of the Enugu State Network of Civil Society Organizations, is a well-known voice in grassroots development and an ardent advocate for inclusive governance.
In an official statement jointly signed by WOSCONET’s Acting President, Comrade Mrs. Patience Uche-Udo Ezeaku, and Secretary, Mrs. Chizoba Ezemagu, the organization praised the Governor for making what they described as “a deeply thoughtful and strategic appointment.”

"The Women Support Women Community Network (WOSCONET) expresses profound gratitude to the Executive Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Dr. Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for the thoughtful and commendable appointment of Mr. Ozor Ugonna Kingsley as a member of the Enugu State Human Capital Development Council, representing Civil Society Organizations (CSOs).
This appointment is not only well-deserved but also a validation of Governor Mbah’s commitment to inclusive governance and the meaningful involvement of civil society actors in the development of Enugu State. Ozor Ugonna Kingsley is one of the finest examples of servant leadership and community-driven advocacy.
As the Executive Director of REDFoundation and the Secretary of the Enugu State Network of Civil Society Organizations, he has consistently used his platform to amplify the voices of the marginalized, especially rural dwellers. More importantly to us in WOSCONET, Ozor is our ‘He for She’ Champion; a man who has consistently and sincerely supported the advancement of women and girls.
We are confident that his presence in the Human Capital Development Council will be a major asset, not just to civil society, but to the overall goal of building a prosperous and people-centered Enugu State.
