A group of women in Rivers State have vehemently rejected the wife of the state administrator, accusing her of impersonation and insisting that the only First Lady they recognize is the wife of the suspended Governor, Siminalayi Fubara.
According to the women, any attempt by the administrator’s wife to address or represent them is unacceptable. They maintained that the suspension of Governor Fubara does not invalidate the status of his wife as the First Lady of Rivers State.
Their declaration underscores the ongoing political tension in the state, with growing support among grassroots groups and women’s organizations for Sim Fubara and his administration.
