BREAKING: Former Governor Dumps PDP, Joins APC

Former Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, has officially resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and returned to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The defection was sealed on Wednesday at his Warri GRA residence, where he was warmly received by APC ward and local government leaders. Uduaghan, who previously defected from APC back to PDP, was presented with a new APC membership card coded ‘Delta WRN//023/32001’, marking his renewed allegiance to the party.

In a show of solidarity, his daughter, Orode Uduaghan, the current Delta State Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Community Support Services, and Child Development, also picked up her APC membership card.

Addressing party faithful, the former governor expressed gratitude to APC leadership for their support and vowed to work collaboratively to drive development in Delta State.

Welcoming the duo, APC Delta South Women Leader, Alero Tenumah, urged members to rally behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, assuring continued collaboration and support from the party.

This political realignment comes amidst heightened activity within Delta’s political landscape ahead of the 2027 elections.

More details shortly.
