A viral video of popular Nollywood actress Angela Okorie running on a movie set has stirred widespread attention online, prompting a Lagos-based aesthetic dermatologist, Dr. Bea, to issue a message to Nigerian actresses.
In the video, Angela is seen wearing white bum shorts and a white top while shooting a running scene, with her noticeably enhanced buttocks drawing massive reactions from viewers.
Reacting to the clip, Dr. Bea emphasized that the video should serve as a wake-up call, urging actresses to embrace moderation when it comes to cosmetic enhancements. She noted that "less is more" and encouraged actresses to invest in improving their craft rather than focusing on physical augmentations like Brazilian Butt Lifts (BBLs).
According to her, such enhancements may be suitable for social media influencers, but for professional actresses, audiences are more interested in acting talent and storytelling than sex appeal.
