A man identified as Nelson Igboke has claimed that a landlord in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, gave one of his tenants a quit notice because the tenant owns two cars and recently bought a third one for his wife.
According to Nelson, the landlord felt the tenant was doing too well and therefore should “go and build his own house.”
He shared the story online, writing:
“At Okwase street Abakaliki, landlord just gave his tenant quit notice b/c he had 2 cars and just bot a 3rd one for his wife. The landlord asked him to go and build his own house,”
