JUST-IN! Elders of Ebonyi Community Endorses Tinubu For 2027 Elections, Hails His Administration’s Ability to Lift Nigerians Out of Poverty

Elders, stakeholders, and other opinion leaders from the Enyibichiri Alike community in Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State have thrown their weight behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Francis Nwifuru, and Hon. Chinedu Ogah, endorsing them for re-election in the forthcoming 2027 general elections.

The endorsement was made during a one-day working visit by Hon. Ogah to the community, an event that also featured the commissioning of the newly reconstructed Ofee Bridge, completed under the supervision of the Ebonyi State Commissioner for Border Peace and Conflict Resolution, Mr. Donatus Ilang.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Ogah, who represents the Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, urged the people to continue supporting President Tinubu’s administration. He emphasized that President Tinubu has demonstrated great commitment to the South East region through the Renewed Hope Agenda, working to revive long-abandoned infrastructure and reinvigorate various sectors of the economy.

Hon. Ogah praised the President for creating a political environment that empowers National Assembly members to deliver more dividends of democracy to their constituents. He pledged to facilitate the installation of a telecommunication mast in the Enyibichiri Alike community to enhance mobile network connectivity.

In addition, Hon. Ogah donated solar-powered streetlights to boost community security and announced plans to begin the construction of four blocks of open shops at the local market square to promote economic activities and create jobs.

Addressing the gathering on behalf of the community stakeholders, Mr. Donatus Ilang applauded the developmental strides of the Tinubu-led federal government and the achievements of Governor Francis Nwifuru at the state level. He stated that both leaders, along with Hon. Ogah, have earned the people's trust and deserve a renewed mandate in 2027.

The event, which was well attended by community leaders, youths, and women groups, highlighted the growing grassroots support for the current leadership at the federal and state levels as political activities ahead of the 2027 elections continue to gather momentum.
