The Nweke family of Umuezede Village, Achalla in Awka North Local Government Area of Anambra State, has announced the burial arrangements for their beloved patriarch, Late Elder Joseph Chukwuma Nweke, who passed away on January 26, 2025.
Hon. Amb. Mrs. Amaka Nweke JP, the commissioner IV of Enugu State Local Government Service Commission, the founder of Women Support Women Community Network (WOSCONET) and former Coordinator of the Network of Water Rights Initiative, is inviting friends, colleagues and well-wishers to the funeral of her late father, a revered elder, husband, father, and grandfather.
Burial Arrangements:
The funeral service will begin on Friday, 2nd May 2025, with a wake-keeping at the family compound in Umuezede Village, Achalla, Awka North LGA, at 5:00 PM.
On Saturday, 3rd May 2025, the body will lie in state at the family compound from 8:00 AM, followed by the Funeral Mass at Holy Family Catholic Church, Achalla. The interment will take place immediately after the Mass at the family compound.
The family will conclude the rites with a Thanksgiving Mass on Sunday, 4th May 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church, Achalla.
The entire Nweke family, along with relatives, friends, and well-wishers, are invited to join in the celebration of the life of Elder Joseph Chukwuma Nweke.
