The Commonwealth Organization Award winner cum public affairs analyst Hon Monday Diamond Ani JP has expressed his delight on the choice of the Enugu State Representatives/Elected Officials from Enugu State in the just concluded Ohaneze Ndigbo worldwide general election.
Recall that on the 10th of January 2025 , at the Old Governor's lodge Enugu, the Election of the National Executive Council of Ohaneze Ndigbo worldwide was held in the presence of the Governors of Ohaneze Ndigbo member States,other top Igbo Leaders of Imeobi,Representatives of Ndigbo in different fora and in diaspora,an exercise which saw to the emergence of Distinguished Senator John Azuta Mbata of Rivers State as the new President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo worldwide.
Expressing his delight on the successful outcome of the election, Hon Monday Diamond Ani popularly known as Odoziobodo said the election was very peaceful, fair and credible and very successful.
He also, stated that the trio of Enugu State Elected Members in the persons of Professor Fred Eze(immediate past Enugu State President of Ohaneze Ndigbo) and current Vice President General(Enugu State),Barr Peter Chidera Aneke( Immediate past Assistant Nat'l Legal Adviser) and current National Treasurer as well as Mazi Ikechukwu Bismarck Oji, MNSE, COREN, the Assistant National Publicity Secretary are perfect matches for the job and would constitute worthy ambassadors and strong voices not just for Ndi Enugu but also Ndigbo at large due to their wealth of experiences and proactiveness in the public service.
Their antecedents are enviable, their reputations are impeccable and their services to humanity so far are highly commendable. Therefore, I commend their choices and emergence to represent the good people of Enugu in the apex Igbo sociocultural organization.
I also immeasurably eulogize the Executive Governor of Enugu State Barr Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah the 7-Star Governor of the East for his kind support in the whole exercise both to the Enugu Elected Executive Members and also the entire process that saw to the success of the General election.
