The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has announced the suspension of all access gate fees at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport. This decision is part of efforts to ease traffic congestion for airport road users.
A statement released by FAAN on Saturday, January 25, 2025, explained that the suspension is aimed at alleviating the traffic burden caused by ongoing construction at the airport. The suspension will be in effect from January 24, 2025, to February 7, 2025.
FAAN’s statement reads, “The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) wishes to inform the general public that all access gates at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport are suspended to alleviate the traffic burden on our airport road users.”
The statement further expressed FAAN’s apology for any inconvenience caused by the ongoing construction at the airport, and reassured the public of their commitment to ensuring a smoother travel experience for all airport road users.
