Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State has made a significant contribution to enhancing the security infrastructure by donating 78 new patrol vehicles to the Police Command. This gesture underscores his administration's commitment to fostering a secure environment for all residents and addressing the prevailing security challenges in the state.
In a statement issued by the Governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Dawakin-Tofa, Yusuf expressed his administration’s unwavering dedication to the safety and well-being of the people of Kano. He emphasized that safeguarding lives and property is a core responsibility of any responsible government and pledged continuous collaboration with security agencies to ensure effective service delivery. He further noted that the patrol vehicles are equipped with advanced technology, enhancing the operational capabilities of the police in maintaining peace and order.
Governor Yusuf also hinted at plans to extend similar support to other security agencies in the state, urging them to work in synergy with his administration to tackle security issues comprehensively. He extended his appreciation to the heads of security agencies for their commitment and urged that the newly acquired vehicles be properly maintained to ensure their durability.
