BREAKING: Governor Appoints New Chief Judge

 



Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has appointed Justice Lekan Ogunmoye as the Acting Chief Judge of Ekiti State, effective November 5, 2024. This appointment follows the death of the former Chief Judge, Justice Oyewole Adeyeye, who passed away recently. The Governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Olayinka Oyebode, announced that this decision aligns with Section 271(4) of Nigeria’s 1999 Constitution. Justice Ogunmoye, born in 1963 and appointed as a judge in 2010, has a distinguished career dedicated to upholding justice and equity.
