As technology is evolving and artificial intelligence solutions are creating positive disruptions around the globe, environmental scientists are restless in the search for safer, cleaner, alternative energy solutions to curb the effects of carbon emissions on the climate.
Scientists named fossil fuels ( diesel, petrol, kerosene and it's derivative) as the chief culprit in the green house emissions leading to climate change or global warming. Based on this finding, many countries are eager to achieve carbon neutrality or simply, an end to use of fossil fuels . Countries in Europe and North America have mandated Small, medium and large scale manufacturing concerns dependent on machineries powered by fossil fuels to replace them with energy efficient machines utilizing climate friendly, alternative energy solutions like solar, wind, water or compressed Natural Gas. The era of crude oil is coming to an abrupt end.
Financial experts predict that reduction in the use of fossil fuels may imply a 68 percent reduction in the demand for Crude oil in Europe, North America and some countries in Asia before the year 2045. This portends grave danger to Nigerian economy if the country does not diversify from crude oil as its major export earner to other energy sources.
Under the Renewed Hope Agenda of president Tinubu, the honorable minister, Chief Geoffrey Uche Nnaji successfully proffered innovative solutions to fast track Nigeria to the future as a global player in the alternative energy market. Under the dynamic leadership of the honorable minister, chief Uche Nnaji, Nigeria entered into a strategic partnership with the government of Germany to turn Nigeria into a major producer of Green Hydrogen in the world. This is a milestone achievement as it implies huge investment in infrastructure, job creation, and huge foreign exchange earnings for Nigeria within the next few years.
Recall that in the early years of discovery of Crude oil in Nigeria, leading nations of the world sojourned to Nigeria to invest in oil exploration. Once more, Nigeria will turn to investors paradise as global player in green energy production.
Innovative solutions in the energy sector challenge traditional thinking and break the strangle hold dependence on crude oil for power generation, transportation and industrial uses.
It is noteworthy that the honorable minister had earlier celebrated successful completion and commissioning of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Conversion centers in various parts of the nation to address the high cost of transportation in Nigeria. Through his relentless efforts, Nigeria is also moving towards becoming a major player in Solar technology. Work is ongoing at Solar PV MODULE ASSEMBLY FACTORY in Enugu State and also the Alternative Energy College in Kogi simultaneously. Skilled technicians and Solar power farms will start emerging in Nigeria to boost power supply in a few years. Thanks to the honorable minister, Chief Uche Nnaji.
The green Hydrogen Energy production agreement between the German government and the Nigeria government is one among many success stories achieved in the Ministry of innovation Science and Technology under the innovative leadership of Chief Uche Nnaji as the Honorable minister.
Nigeria will be among the leading nations in the Green Hydrogen Energy production and will leverage on the existing four billion euro investment capital made available by the German government for infrastructure, and supporting industries.
To many young Nigerians, this means new and lucrative Jobs, economic boost and renewed hope for Nigeria. Nigeria will celebrate economic boom again as she did during the early years of discovery of Crude Oil.
Green Hydrogen Energy, Solar Energy are the leading income earners around the globe..We thank Chief Geoffrey Uche Nnaji for repositioning Nigeria to stand out as a major player in the Alternative Energy market
Good times are coming again to Nigeria
