The Executive Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, has been commended for demonstrating confidence in women’s leadership and strengthening inclusive governance through the appointment of Ambassador Onyinye Joy Mamah to three strategic directorates and committees.
Amb. Mamah’s appointments span the **Women Mobilization Directorate, Civil Society Directorate, and the Peace and Conflict Reconciliation Committee**, positioning her to contribute to women’s political participation, civil society engagement, peace-building and reconciliation efforts in Enugu State.
Reacting to the development, a member of her team, Nneka Lovinamary, popularly known as *Ada Ji Oha Nike*, described the appointments as a bold statement of Governor Mbah’s commitment to women’s inclusion, participatory governance and the recognition of capable individuals for strategic responsibilities.
According to her, the triple appointment goes beyond the recognition of Amb. Mamah’s leadership capacity, reflecting an administration that values competence, inclusiveness, peace-building and constructive engagement with civil society organisations.
Lovinamary expressed profound appreciation to Governor Mbah for the confidence reposed in Amb. Mamah, noting that the opportunity would further inspire dedication, commitment and meaningful contributions to the development of Enugu State..
She also expressed optimism that Amb. Mamah’s involvement across the three strategic platforms would strengthen mobilisation efforts, deepen engagement with civil society stakeholders and support initiatives aimed at promoting peace, dialogue and reconciliation across the state.
