As Muslims across Nigeria mark Eid ul Maulud today, August 25, 2026, the Senior Special Assistant to the President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Students Engagement, Comr. Sunday Asefon, has extended his warmest greetings and best wishes to Muslim brothers and sisters across the country.
Comr. Asefon described the occasion as a special moment to commemorate the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), urging the faithful to embrace the enduring values of peace, compassion, forgiveness, humility and love exemplified by the Prophet.
He wished Muslim families a joyful and spiritually fulfilling celebration, expressing hope that the occasion would inspire greater unity, kindness and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians.
“May this blessed occasion bring peace to our hearts, joy to our families and renewed hope to our nation. Eid Mubarak to all our Muslim brothers and sisters,” Asefon said.
The presidential aide also encouraged young Nigerians to draw inspiration from the Prophet’s teachings and contribute positively to the building of a more peaceful, united and prosperous Nigeria.
