ENUGU: Awkunanaw Clan Rallies in Unity to Honour Governor Peter Mbah’s Leadership Legacy, April 11

In a powerful demonstration of unity, pride, and collective appreciation, the Awkunanaw Clan has concluded arrangements to host a Mega Rally in honour of the Governor of Enugu State, , in recognition of his outstanding leadership and developmental strides.

The event is slated for Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Awkunanaw Civic Center, Akpasha, Akegbe Ugwu, in Nkanu West Local Government Area, with proceedings scheduled to begin at 10:00 am.

Describing the rally as a historic moment for the clan, organizers emphasized that it is an opportunity for the people of Awkunanaw to collectively express their gratitude to a leader they say has transformed governance in Enugu State.

The clan lauded Governor Mbah for what they termed a bold redefinition of leadership, noting that his administration has brought about visible progress and renewed hope across various sectors. They stressed that his governance style has not only delivered results but has also restored public confidence in leadership.

According to the statement, the governor’s achievements have made Enugu State a shining example of purposeful governance, earning admiration both within and beyond the state.

Members of the public, particularly indigenes of Awkunanaw communities Akegbe Ugwu, Obuoffia, Amechi, Amodu, Umueze, Akwuke, Ugwuaji, and Obeagu have been urged to turn out en masse for the rally, which is expected to feature speeches, solidarity displays, and cultural expressions.
