The incident is said to have occurred in the Obukpa area of Nsukka Local Government Area. According to sources, the confrontation escalated after the woman accused her husband of infidelity, leading to the shocking act. The man reportedly sustained third-degree burns and was rushed to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention. His condition is said to be critical, though this has not been officially confirmed.
