Enugu SME Center, Pocket Lawyers Announce High-Impact Virtual Workshop on Nigeria’s New Tax Law for MSMEs

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across Enugu State and beyond are set to gain critical insights into Nigeria’s new tax regulations as the Enugu SME Center (Enugu MSME & Startup Agency), in partnership with Pocket Lawyers, rolls out a capacity-building virtual workshop designed to strengthen business compliance and financial resilience.

The virtual training, scheduled for Thursday, 11th December 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, will equip business owners, startups and finance managers with practical tools needed to adapt to the evolving tax landscape. Participants will be guided by experts on how to navigate key areas such as budgeting and documentation, establishing internal controls for tax compliance, and avoiding penalties while remaining fully protected under the law.

Led by Ngozi Nwabueze, CEO of Pocket Lawyers, the session will unpack the new tax law in simple, actionable terms tailored to MSMEs. She will be joined by a special guest, the Head of Finance at Ploutos Page Limited, who will provide real-world perspectives on compliance strategies that work for both emerging and established businesses.

According to the organizers, the workshop is part of ongoing efforts to support MSMEs, one of the strongest pillars of Enugu’s growing digital and entrepreneurial economy, to stay ahead of regulatory changes and build sustainable, compliant businesses.

The event is fully virtual, allowing participants to join from any location. Interested business owners, accountants, startup founders and freelancers are encouraged to secure their seats promptly via the registration link: https://bit.ly/TaxLaw-Workshop.

While the business environment evolves, staying informed becomes a key competitive edge. This workshop offers MSMEs the opportunity to gain clarity, avoid costly mistakes, and position themselves for growth under the new tax regime.
