A 62-year-old man, Mr. Chuks Enoch Ezike, popularly known as Over Size and bearing the title Ebekuo Dike na Nanka, has reportedly married a 16-year-old girl, Miss Deborah Gabriel Akaoseh, in Anambra State.
According to sources, the marriage ceremony took place on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at Swiss Point Hotel, Agulu Ezinano Roundabout, Agu-Ukwu Nri Road, Agulu, Anambra State.
Mr. Ezike, a native of Nanka in Anambra, exchanged vows with the teenage bride in the presence of family members, friends, and well-wishers. He revealed that he metDeborah who hails from Amoji in Enugu State when she was 15 years old but waited until she turned 16 before proceeding with the marriage.
The controversial union has generated widespread debate among residents and on social media, with many expressing concerns over the bride’s age and questioning the legality of such marriages under Nigerian law.
