SAD!! Woman Flees After Allegedly Beating Husband to Death During Domestic Fight in Benue





The Benue State Police Command has launched a manhunt for a woman identified as Salome Tersoo, who allegedly beat her husband to death during a domestic altercation in the Agera Mbaashia community of Gaav District, Konshisha Local Government Area.

The tragic incident, which occurred in the early hours of July 31, 2025, was reported at about 10:30 a.m. by the deceased’s father, Emmanuel Achir, at the Konshisha Divisional Police Headquarters.

According to preliminary  , the deceased, Tersoo Emmanuel, 32, and his wife had a heated dispute that escalated into a physical confrontation. During the scuffle, Salome reportedly kicked her husband in the stomach and bit his right hand, which led to his sudden collapse and subsequent death.

The suspect fled the scene immediately and has remained at large.

Police detectives have since visited the crime scene, collected evidence, and evacuated the victim’s body to God’s Approved Funeral Service mortuary for preservation and autopsy.

The State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) has taken over the case and is leading the investigation as authorities intensify efforts to track down and arrest the fugitive suspect.

The Benue Police Command has appealed to the public for any information that could assist in apprehending Salome Tersoo, emphasizing the importance of justice and due process in the case.
