The immediate past Bishop of Nsukka Catholic Diocese, Most Rev. Emmanuel Ogbonnia Okobo, has passed on.
NATIONAL POST learnt that the Emeritus Bishop died today, August 29, 2025. He was aged 89.
As of the time of filing this report, the Diocesan authorities are yet to issue official information on the development. However, tributes are already pouring in for the late clergyman on social media.
