Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has relieved the Commissioner for Information, Prof. Muhammad Sani-Bello, of his duties.
The announcement was made on Monday in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Malam Ibraheem Musa. Prof. Bello, who previously served as the pioneer Commissioner for Education under the current administration, will no longer be part of the State Executive Council.
Governor Sani expressed gratitude for Prof. Bello’s service and contributions to the state, wishing him well in his future endeavors.
In a swift replacement, the governor appointed Alhaji Ahmed Maiyaki as the new Commissioner for Information. Until his appointment, Maiyaki was the Managing Director of the Kaduna State Media Corporation.
