Justice Chizoba Orji of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court has granted bail to Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan in the sum of ₦50 million.
The embattled senator is required to produce one surety, who must be a reputable indigene of the FCT and possess landed property within the court’s jurisdiction.
The case has been adjourned to September 23, 2025, for further proceedings.
Details surrounding the charges are still unfolding, but her arraignment is reported to be linked to allegations of defamation against Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
