..."Gov Mbah's Two Years of Focused and People-centered Leadership Has Brought Visible and Measurable Development Across Enugu State" -Rev Amb Emmanuel Edeh, (CAN Chairman).
As Enugu State rolls out the drums in celebration of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s remarkable two years in office, the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Enugu State Chapter, Rev. Amb. Emmanuel Ositadinma Edeh, has joined the growing chorus of commendations pouring in for the Governor’s transformative leadership.
In a heartfelt goodwill message made available to the press on Wednesday, Rev. Edeh congratulated His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for what he described as “two years of focused and people-centered leadership that has brought visible and measurable development across Enugu State.”
Drawing inspiration from the scriptures, the CAN Chairman emphatically declared:
“When the righteous is on the throne, the people rejoice.”
He stressed that the joy and pride currently felt by the people of Enugu State were tangible proofs that Governor Mbah's administration is built on vision, and compassion for the people.
“The Bible says, ‘When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice’ (Proverbs 29:2). Today, the people of Enugu State are rejoicing because a righteous, visionary, and purposeful leader is at the helm of affairs. His Excellency, Governor Peter Mbah, has within just two years transformed our dear state into a beacon of progress,” Rev. Edeh stated.
The cleric highlighted Governor Mbah’s unprecedented strides in infrastructure, health, education, and digital innovation as signs of divine favour upon the land.
“Look at the roads, the 260 Smart Schools and Healthcare Centres, the modernization of Parklane Hospital, the birth of Tech and Skill Villages—these are not ordinary projects. They are testimonies of a leader sent by God for such a time as this,” he remarked.
Rev. Edeh also urged the people of Enugu State not to relent in their prayers and support for the governor, describing the spiritual responsibility of intercession as essential to the continued peace, stability, and prosperity of the state.
“Leadership is not easy. That is why I call upon every man, woman, and youth of Enugu State to constantly lift our Governor in prayer. As the Church, we have a divine duty to intercede for those in authority, especially when we see the kind of results Governor Mbah is delivering,” he added.
He concluded by blessing the Governor and his administration with words of encouragement and spiritual strength, calling the second anniversary not just a milestone, but “a divine marker of what God can do when a righteous man leads with integrity and vision.”
The message from Rev. Amb. Emmanuel Ositadinma Edeh adds a powerful spiritual dimension to the ongoing celebrations, affirming that Governor Mbah’s two years in office have not only delivered tangible development, but also inspired faith, unity, and collective purpose among the people of Enugu State.
