A lecturer at the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), popularly known on TikTok as Dr Steeze, has drawn widespread attention on social media after sharing a surprising discovery made while marking exam scripts — a handwritten love letter from a student.
In a video uploaded to his TikTok page, Dr Steeze appeared both amused and flattered as he read out the anonymous note, which began with the bold plea, “Please don’t ignore sir.” The student went on to express heartfelt admiration, writing, “I know you will be shocked by this sir… I really wish I could be with you.”
The lighthearted video quickly went viral, attracting numerous reactions from viewers who praised the lecturer’s humorous and composed response. Dr Steeze, clearly entertained, captioned the video: “Make sure you don’t pause the video ooo 😜 I never knew I had many crushes, I think I should start making preparations to call @Femilevite (IdanOluwa).”
He also playfully asked his followers whether he should accept the admirer’s proposal.
The video has continued to gain traction online, with many commending the lecturer for his professional yet humorous approach to an unusual situation during the examination period.
