Suspected Fulani Herdsmen Kill Three Students in Uzo-Uwani, Enugu State
A disturbing video circulating online has revealed the gruesome murder of three teenagers whose throats were reportedly slit by suspected Fulani herdsmen along the Ogurugu-Ugbamaja road in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State.
The incident, which allegedly occurred on Monday, May 19, 2025, has sparked outrage and fear across the affected communities of Ogurugu, Adani, and Ukpabi Nimbo. In the video, a man is heard wailing in the background, crying for help and lamenting the rising insecurity.
"Too many killings by these Fulani herdsmen in Uzo-Uwani LGA, particularly in Ogurugu, Adani, and Ukpabi Nimbo. We are helpless," eyewitnesses lamented.
Local residents are calling on security agencies and the government to urgently intervene and protect lives in the region.
