Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has extended heartfelt condolence prayers to one of the senior members of his legal team, Dr. Onyechi Ikpeazu, SAN, following the tragic death of his beloved daughter in a ghastly motor accident.
The heartbreaking incident occurred on Sunday in Abuja, plunging the respected legal luminary and his family into deep mourning.
The young lady, whose identity has not been publicly disclosed, had recently passed her Bar Finals and was awaiting her Call to the Nigerian Bar before the fatal accident cut her life short.
Mazi Kanu, through a message conveyed from detention, expressed profound sorrow over the loss and prayed for strength for Dr. Ikpeazu and his family during this difficult time.
“This is a devastating loss, not just to the Ikpeazu family, but to the legal profession and to all who knew her. I pray that Chukwu Okike Abiama grants the family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” Kanu said.
He also prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of the young lady, describing her as a beacon of promise and excellence whose life was tragically cut short.
“May the soul of this brilliant and promising daughter of the land rest in perfect peace,” he added.
