The people of Isseke in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State have been thrown into mourning following the gruesome murder of a man, his two wives and his daughter.
It was gathered that the gunmen branded the man a saboteur, leading to the brutal [killing], alongside his family members.
Daughter of the victims, who goes by Facebook name, Chelsea Mary, broke the news on her social media page, Friday afternoon.
She wrote:
“Black Friday…My Dad, my mum, my stepmum, my sister all gone. God why me? May 23rd 2025…Who did I offend?”
NATIONAL POST reports that her post has generated over a thousand reactions, with many consoling her and expressing rude shock over the incident.
One of those who commented on her post wrote:
“It was really gruesome site to behold (they were murdered in cold blooded).....just watched the video now, it happened at Isseke in Ihiala LGA, a neighboring village to mine. Which people really did this?”
As of the time of filing this report, details have not been provided about the incident.
But further reactions from the post also showed that the said community, Isseke, has remained a hotbed for unknown gunmen.
The police are yet to confirm the incident.
