Reps to Investigate JAMB Over 2025 UTME Result Errors



The House of Representatives has resolved to investigate the technical issues that affected the results of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

This decision was reached during plenary on Thursday after Hon. Adewale Adebayo (Osun State) raised a motion of urgent public importance. His motion followed public outrage and concern over the system failure recently admitted by JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, during a press conference.

Prof. Oloyede revealed that a technical error had affected the UTME scores of many candidates, particularly in Lagos and the five South-East states. He confirmed that affected candidates would retake the examination.

JAMB Begins Rescheduling Exams for Affected 2025 UTME Candidates

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has begun rescheduling UTME exams for candidates affected by technical glitches during the 2025 exercise.
