Gov Mbah’s SPA on Legislative Matters Felicitates with ALGON Chairman, Hon. Sydney Edeh, on Chieftaincy Title Conferment

The Special Adviser to the Governor of Enugu State on Legislative Matters, Rt. Hon. Chief Paul Nnajiofor (Ononenyi), has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Executive Chairman of Nkanu East Local Government Area and Chairman of ALGON, Enugu State, Hon. Sydney Okechukwu Edeh, on the conferment of a prestigious chieftaincy title.

Hon. Edeh was recently honoured with the title "Akobundu I of Nike Ancient Kingdom" by His Royal Highness, Igwe Julius Nnaji Odenigbo III. The title, according to Chief Nnajiofor, is a well-deserved recognition of Hon. Edeh’s unwavering commitment, outstanding leadership, and exceptional service delivery to the people of Nkanu East and beyond.

Describing the conferment as a timely and fitting honour, Chief Nnajiofor praised Hon. Edeh’s impressive track record, noting that his efforts have not gone unnoticed within and outside Enugu State. He emphasized that the chieftaincy title, coming from the historic Nike Kingdom, is particularly significant as it symbolizes unity, peace, and cultural pride, virtues that Hon. Edeh has consistently upheld.

“The conferment of the Akobundu I title is not just an honour but a validation of Hon. Okechukwu Edeh’s uncommon dedication to grassroots development, empowerment initiatives, and impactful governance,” Nnajiofor said.

He concluded by offering prayers and best wishes for continued recognition, urging the ALGON Chairman to sustain and even exceed his current efforts in delivering democratic dividends and human development programmes to the people.
