Uromi Killings: ‘Stop Hunting In Southern Nigeria' - Kano Rep Tells Constituents



The lawmaker representing Rano Bunkure Federal Constituency of Kano State, Alhassan Rurum, has appealed to his constituents that were affected by the recent killings in Uromi, Edo State to discontinue hunting in the Southern part of the country, saying the practice is no longer justifiable.


Rurum made the appeal when he visited the families of the victims in his constituency at Bunkure Village on Thursday.


The federal lawmaker stated that the spate of insecurity being faced across the country has changed certain practices such as hunting, requiring them to be stopped.
