JUST IN: First Bank Sends Important Message that May Effect Customers

FirstBank has announced a scheduled system maintenance that will take place on Sunday, April 13, 2025, from 12:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. (WAT).

During this maintenance window, card transactions on ATMs, POS terminals, and web platforms will be temporarily unavailable. Additionally, Agency Banking POS terminals and new user enrollments on FirstMobile and USSD will also be affected.

However, customers will still be able to access existing services on FirstMobile, USSD, and FirstOnline. Non-card transactions at agent locations will also remain available.

The bank has apologized for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates the patience of its customers as it works to enhance service quality.

FirstBank also reminded its customers to keep their records up to date by visiting any nearby branch. Importantly, the bank reiterated that it will never ask for confidential banking details, such as online banking passwords, token responses, card numbers, or ATM PINs. Customers are urged to report any suspicious calls or activities.
