BREAKING:!! Four Top Nigerian Gospel Artists Die in Fatal Crash

A devastating auto crash has claimed the lives of four Nigerian gospel artists along the Ikorodu/Sagamu Road in Ogun State. The deceased have been identified as Evangelist Ayodeji Davids (popularly known as Kekerejesu), Evangelist Iyanu Joseph, Monjolajesu Oluwapamilerin, and Opeyemi Adesina.

According to a statement released by the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Public Education Officer, Route Commander Florence Okupe, the tragic accident occurred on Saturday, April 6, involving multiple vehicles.

Okupe explained that the collision occurred when two vehicles initially crashed, prompting an emergency response. While rescue operations were ongoing, a third vehicle—reportedly suffering brake failure—rammed into the scene, further escalating the tragedy.

“The injured victims were taken to Dasochris Hospital Gbaga, while the bodies of the deceased have been deposited at Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OOUTH),” Okupe stated.

The FRSC Sector Commander expressed deep concern over the rising incidents of road crashes, attributing the tragedy to reckless driving, excessive speed, and mechanical failure.

The gospel artists, who were reportedly traveling together for a ministerial assignment, died on the spot.
