The group has called for justice, demanding the arrest of those responsible for the killings and proper compensation for the victims' families.
Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Nwifuru, condemned the incident, attributing it to "strangers," a characterization that was criticized by the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council. National President, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike, criticized the governor's remarks, accusing him of political cowardice and urging him to take stronger action in ensuring justice for the victims.
The Igbo group has also demanded immediate action from security agencies to apprehend the perpetrators and prevent further violence.
