Nasir El-Rufai, former governor of Kaduna State, says he was not rejected by the National Assembly as a ministerial nominee.
Speaking on Monday during an interview on Arise TV’s Prime Time, El-Rufai said President Bola Tinubu simply “changed his mind on the nomination.”
The revelation is coming a few days after the ex-governor praised former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s economic policies during his time in office.
El-Rufai acknowledged Atiku’s leadership in shaping economic policies under the Obasanjo administration, which was between 1999 and 2007.
