Prince Eniola Ojajuni, Afenifere Youth Leader, may be killed today. He begged Nigerians in a viral video yesterday. The kidnappers had given him until 3 PM yesterday before they would kill him if he failed to complete the ₦100 million they demanded.
He begged for his life in the video clip while one of the kidnappers dangled an AK-47 rifle at his chest.
“Nigerians, please help me! Your donation—₦100,000, ₦50,000, or ₦1,000,000—can go a long way in saving my life. My name is Prince Eniola Ojajuni. God bless you. Aderohunmu, please help me spread this video,” he begged.
But the deadline has passed without the money, and his abductors added two motorcycles to the ransom.
They didn’t kill him yesterday but instead gave a fresh deadline, according to one of the leaders of the socio-cultural group.
The Afenifere Youth Leader was reportedly kidnapped in Abuja last week. But it was later learned that the kidnappers caught him between Ogun and Kogi State while he was going to Abuja. They shot him in the buttocks, then took him away.
Motorcycles are costly these days, with the cheapest ones ranging from ₦800,000 to ₦1.4 million.
