The daughter of Akwa Ibom State’s Deputy Governor, Dr. Akon Eyakenyi, has tragically passed away due to complications from childbirth. She died at a hospital in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Mrs. Blessing, who had been married for only seven months, succumbed to the complications shortly after giving birth.
The sad news has drawn condolences from government officials, politicians, and friends, all of whom have expressed their sorrow and solidarity with the grieving family.
This tragedy follows the death of Akwa Ibom’s First Lady, Pastor Patience Umo Eno, who passed away on September 26, 2024, after a brief illness.
